Block decomposition: how ClickHouse, Prometheus, and InfluxDB rediscovered the same fundamental algo
Three independent time-series database systems converged on sqrt-decomposition, partitioning data into blocks with summaries to speed up range queries, though each diverges from the theoretical model in practice.

Benchmarks data structures for game matchmaking and shows that Fenwick trees with bucket lists outperform skip lists by roughly 35x on queries while using 3x less memory.

Conference paper (in Ukrainian) on a plagiarism detection system that cuts the time to find similar texts by lowering the asymptotic complexity of a modified locality-sensitive hashing algorithm. Co-authored with Valeria Fekete, Yaroslav Obukhov, and Viktoriia Ruvinska.
